Heater Set-up Guide
Step 1: Locate Breaker Box
Identify breaker amperage for room location and other outlets. (15amp-20amp)
Verify which outlets your cords will using.
Step 2: Run the Extension Cords
Use four or up to eight specialized extension cords.
Connect the power to distribution box and directly to the heating units.
Run additional cords to other outlets as needed.
Step 3: Power the System
If using Turtle Pro connect the system to a 220V outlet (typically a stove or dryer plug) to power the high-performance distribution box.
Safety glove recommended.
Step 4: Position the Heater
Place the heater near the foot or side of the bed, pointing it directly at the infested area for effective deep-heat penetration.
Make sure there is adequate space due to the unit does reach up to 132 degrees.
Keep away from curtain, bed skirts and loose objects from sucking into the units.
Step 5: Optimize Airflow
Position industrial fans to create a cyclone airflow pattern, ensuring the lethal heat reaches every corner of the room.
Step 6: Maintain Lethal Temperature
Target an ambient temperature of 125°F or higher. Maintain this level for several hours to guarantee 100% eradication.
Step 7: Allow Heat Penetration
Thermal treatment requires time to penetrate deep into structural crevices. Let the system run for the full duration specified.
Important Notes and Hints:
When the circuit breakers are not labeled properly; you can flip one circuit breaker off and use a receptacle tester to test if outlets are on same circuit or not. Multiple rooms can be on same circuit.
Don't exceed 80%of the draw on the circuit breaker.
Meaning you can plug in a 12-amp power cord into a 15-amp or a 20-amp circuit but not two
Example of Amp Draw:
One 12-amp cord for one 15-amp circuit breaker =80%
Two 8-amp cords into 20-amp circuit breaker =80%
Fans draw 1.8 amps per fan. Also, 33k fan cords attached to heater draws 1.8 amps
